I would never make it in the wild

This is a cat scratch. It's on the inside of my arm. I know this is a rather mysterious body part, but trust me when I tell you that it's my arm, and specifically, the soft inside of my upper arm.

The scratch was delivered inadvertently, by Maliboo Kitty as she tried to balance using my arm and one of her back claws. I got this scratch yesterday morning. Since then, I've applied Neosporin (WITH pain relief) several times a day, and have mostly walked around like a wounded seagull, one arm half out.

It has been a trying couple of days.

Monkey business!

All of today's post have an exclamation point in the title!

At Mardi Gras World's gift shop, they randomly sold these little magnetized monkeys. Since Ivy and I have a monkey thing going (we are both monkeys under the Chinese Zodiac), I got us these. Keep in mind that New Orleans is also known as The Big Easy, and the Crescent City.

They're brothers.
