Stop me if I've told you this story before.
A few years ago, maybe 3, Willow and I were at Disneyland, and she convinced me to try an arcade game called dance revolution, or something like that. The idea is that you step on a platform and the machine plays dance music and shows you on the screen where you have to put your feet (theoretically, to the rhythm of the music). I'm sure you've seen kids do this.
So we get on this machine, and when we started out, there was no one else in the arcade. As we danced, people started gathering around us, so that by the time we were done a few minutes later, there was a small crowd of people, some watching and some just waiting their turn. I didn't realize the mini crowd had gathered until the end, fortunately.
It was a little confusing I must admit. When the game ended, I asked Willow what her score was, and she said something like 3,000,000. I was all, wha--? I scored FORTY-FIVE points. Apparently you score, like, a million points for just stepping on the damn platform, how did I get 45 points? And yes, the machine was working fine.
Willow and I still laugh to this day.
